Workplace Needs Assessments
At Neurodiversity Forward, we take a highly personalised approach. Every assessment is centred around the individual, exploring their unique strengths, challenges and working preferences to understand what barriers may be affecting them and how these can be removed.
While creating an inclusive workplace culture is our ultimate goal, individual workplace adjustments remain essential. The right accommodations can make day-to-day work more manageable, increase confidence and job satisfaction, and help reduce the risk of stress and burnout.
Each Workplace Needs Assessment consists of a confidential, approximately two-hour online meeting, conducted as a supportive conversation. In some cases, an in-person assessment may be more appropriate. During the assessment, we explore the individual's role, responsibilities and working environment before discussing tailored recommendations.
Recommendations may include:
- Practical workplace adjustments
- Changes to the physical or digital working environment
- Assistive technology
- Training for managers or colleagues
- One-to-one coaching or ongoing support
Following the assessment, we provide a comprehensive written report and, where appropriate, discuss the recommendations with the individual's line manager or HR team to support effective implementation.
Our commitment doesn't end with the report. To ensure recommendations are making a meaningful difference, every Workplace Needs Assessment includes a three-month review. This allows us to evaluate progress, address any ongoing challenges and refine recommendations where needed, ensuring the support continues to meet the individual's needs.
